Ordered take out for the work group from here. I phoned in the order as it was fairly large, and experienced somewhat of a communication barrier. The first person I spoke with sounded like she understood what I was saying, but she handed the phone over to a man that understood me better. They took my name and said it would take about 15 mins. Heading south on Lafayette Road past 38th, you'll find the taqueria on the right side. It's in a small strip that provides parking spots, but doesn't accommodate many cars and the time I went was a tight squeeze. The inside had bright colors and the wall had a nice mural of items on the menu. Dine-in is an option as they have tables and someone was eating at the restaurant. One of the workers asked my name, and then gave me the receipts. I paid, got my food, and went about my way. The order was large, feeding about 8 people, price came up to about 72$. I ate the taco el pastor (pork) and taco de barbacoa (steemed cooked beef). I normally get steak tacos (asada), but i was impressed with my selection. The pork was very tasty and the barbacoa (my first time having it) was delicious. I also had the guacamole which was yummy and the queso had good flavor, but was on the runny side. Ate these with tortilla chips which tasted crisp and fresh. The menu contains a large variety and American foods are also available. I didn't see many options for vegetarians on the menu as most contained meat or seafood. If you're in the mood for a local Mexican eats, then check this place out.
I never knew there was a taqueria nearby from my place. It was nice to check it out. I ordered a few tacos to go and boy they were good! The salsas were super spicy, that it was hard to eat them but made the experience worth it. The place is a decent size restaurant that serve large parties. The parking lot is a bit tight to find proper parking, but if you find one it is good. I enjoyed the birria, chorizo, and steak tacos. It's hard to find birria tacos, so when I find a place that serves them, I take advantage! My order was processed right away and did not have to wait long. I highly recommend for take out or general dining.
They have the best green salsa 10/10 recommend and the food is bussin coming from a gen z. I would recommend calling ahead if you want to take it home.
